Our Mission
The mission of the Bob Koll Sailing Foundation is to expand access to sailing
and racing opportunities to those who would not otherwise be able to participate
in our sport. Our emphasis is on youth. However our programs are available to
all non-profits as well as the community at large.

What We Do
See yourself behind the wheel of a 58’ foot boat, the wind at your back,
your future bright in front of you.
Now imagine that you’re 14. This is the first time you’ve ever been on a boat,
the first time you’ve ever seen the ocean, the first time you’ve ever been told
that you can achieve what you set out to do…but this time you believe it.
Experiences like these are what we at Bob Koll Sailing set out to create on a
weekly basis. Sailing has the ability to affect young lives in a dramatic and
lasting way. It changes the way kids think about themselves, and influences their life choices.

Yet all of these skills, and more, are found on every single well-sailed
boat that ever left her slip.

Get Involved: Help Us Mentor
Sailing, like life, isn’t something that is easily mastered.
It certainly isn’t learned overnight. Learning to sail a boat
means listening to caring mentors, who are willing, if need be,
to tell you to try things from a different tack.
Today's youth are desperately in need of just such mentors and if
you are that type of person then Bob Koll Sailing Foundation is
looking for you.
If you don’t yet have the sailing skills, we can fix that.
If you do, we know just how to put them to work.
But either way we promise that getting involved and mentoring
youth on the water will be a rewarding experience you’ll never
forget and never regret!
